Remember that the plan of salvation is more than a flowchart; it permeates every aspect of our existence. Look for the patterns clearly laid out in His Eternal plan in your daily life.
For a family home evening lesson or mutual activity, create an illustration of the plan of salvation laid out like a board game, and have members take turns reading scripture passages about each section.
If you’re feeling creative, instead of drawing the traditional chart you’re familiar with, do a more artistic representation.
Consider this statement as you study and prepare: “The three pillars of eternity, the three events, preeminent and transcendent above all others, are the creation, the fall, and the atonement.” (Bruce R. McConkie, The Three Pillars of Eternity)
Contact the missionaries in your ward and see if you could go with them to a teaching appointment about the plan of salvation. If you have more ideas or a personal experience you want to share, send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
